What information do we ask for and how do we use it?

• Name (first name only, last initial if you wish)

• Phone number

• Email address

• Sobriety date

We keep a list of members who want to be on the phone list and/or on the email list. If you want to receive announcements from the group, you can provide your email address. Email addresses are never shared with the group members as a whole, only with those appointed members who monitor the group's email account. When emails are sent to the group, recipients receive the email via the BCC field, preventing other members from seeing who has received the email and allowing any replies, even Reply All actions, to come back only to the group's email account and not to all who are on the email list.

If you wish to provide your phone number for the group's phone list, it will be shared with group members who request the phone list. Email addresses are never included on the phone list. Your sobriety date is included on the phone list only if you provide your sobriety date.
