District 22

The town of Lexington is part of District 22 in AA, which covers the following towns: Arlington, Belmont, Lexington, Newton, Waltham, Watertown, Weston and Winchester.

Among other things, District 22 often offers Alcathons around Thanksgiving and Christmas.

General Service Office

Massachusettts and all the states in the country fall under the General Service Office in New York City.

The General Service Office serves as a center of communication for all A.A. groups in the U.S. and Canada.

GSO staff coordinate a wide array of activities and services including publication, translation and distribution of A.A. literature.

They welcome visitors Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. On Fridays, GSO hosts an open A.A. meeting at 11 a.m.

GSO is located on 11th and 8th floors of 61 Claremont Avenue in New York City.
